金唐殿翻譯

金唐殿主神為朱府千歲、雷府千歲、殷府千歲，其來源眾說紛紜，莫衷一是，且因金唐殿的文獻資料在日治末期被廟內蕭姓執事者一把火燒光殆盡，真相如石沉大海。

The main gods of the Golden Tang Temple includes Zhufu Royal Highness (註一), Leifu Royal Highness, and Yinfu Royal Highness according to various versions of the folklore (註二), and the literatures of Golden Tang Temple were burned by a deacon (註三) of the temple whose surname is Xiao at the end of Japanese Occupation period. The truth sank like a stone.

註一：Highness為殿下或千歲的意思。

註二：various versions of the folklore為民間傳說的不同說法，在此表示眾說紛紜的意思。

註三：deacon為教會或宮廟裡的執事或助祭。

蕭壠香約起始於清康熙~乾隆年間，由廟內留存刻有乾隆己酉年(1789，有許多文獻誤植為乾隆乙酉年，1765)「簫隴庄代天府」的石香爐可以為證。

譯文3

The Xiaolong worship (註一) originated from Kangxi Emperor to Qianlong Emperor of Qing Dynasty, as the record still reserved in the temple as carving with the characters of the 46th year of the sexagenary cycle (註二), Qianlong Emperor (1789, where many typos with 22nd year of the sexagenary cycle in many literatures <1765>) on the stone incense burner (註三) of “Dai Tian Temple in Xiaolong Village“ to be proved.

註一：worship原來是拜神的意思，在此表示蕭壠香的「香」，即特定宗教活動的意思。

註二：the sexagenary cycle的意思是六十年為一甲子的週期。

註三：burner的意思為火爐，而stone incense burner為石製香爐的意思。

日治時期蕭壠香曾中斷八十餘年，原因不明。因地方士紳吳宗邦於西港慶安宮西港香的『醮事簿』裡發現蕭壠香的文獻資料，興起恢復蕭壠香的念頭，……

The Xiaolong worship was suspended (註一) for over 80 years in Japanese Occupation period, and the reason was unknown. As the local gentry, Wu, Zongbang, found the literature about Xiaolong worship in the sacrificial ceremony book (註二) for West Port Worship of Qingan Temple, he came up with an idea (註三) to resume the Xiaolong worship festival.

註一：被動式was suspended的意思為被中止。

註二：sacrificial為獻祭的意思；ceremony的意思為儀式；the sacrificial ceremony book，在此表示醮事簿。

註三：came up an idea的意思為想出某個主意。
